Welcome to the last year of this textual/visual diary. Exploring words, spaces and aesthetics.

SOUTH SUMMER HEAT

SOUTH SUMMER HEAT

It's always weird coming home because so much changes in such a short amount of time. Soon I realise that I have been away for long. The heat gets to me much quicker and I am worn out by the late afternoon. I wonder how everyone here manages to keep hustling in this heat.

The blue waters look ever so inviting in the heat, the mosquitoes still love the taste of the blood under my salty skin, sweat pours down my body with and without my consent. It is nice coming back to the familiar yet strange to think that I have known/seen some of these very views for 17 years.  They are still as beautiful, sometimes dull but here I wind down to zero.
