FROM SLIGO, WITH LOVE
Three years later, we found ourselves back in Sligo again, this time to watch my best friend wed the man of her dreams. Altogether I could say that I didn't miss Ireland at all until I was back. It's the feeling one gets when they are home again, but as quickly as the feeling comes, it also withers. Sligo was different, quiet and new. We didn't catch enough sleep and always had more than enough to drink. The weather was undeniably Irish until it decided to prove us wrong the moment we set foot in Dublin. We visited Standhill and Benbulben Forest Walk, but perhaps we could have done a little more if we partied less, but that was out of the question.
