Welcome to the last year of this textual/visual diary. Exploring words, spaces and aesthetics.

THE THINGS THEY DON'T TEACH

THE THINGS THEY DON'T TEACH

Out of all the things I wish my parents had taught me, I wish not giving a shit was one of them. That people won't always respect you, that family could turn against you, friends desert you, that lying to yourself is a prison and it only serves life sentences.

Ironically, you must fight for your peace and break on the way to becoming whole.

Perhaps such things are not what you teach your 'little girls'. But what good is them sitting, howling at moon for a better morning when they have lost faith? Licking wounds inflicted by those who solemnly swore they loved them most.
