Welcome to the last year of this textual/visual diary. Exploring words, spaces and aesthetics.

A LITTLE WHILE IN THE TROLL'S PATH

A LITTLE WHILE IN THE TROLL'S PATH

How small we are, in comparison, when there's a big big world out there.

I find myself being drawn to photographing things and people looking small in comparison to what is around them. Sometime this is an illusion, but in this case this is probably the most accurate representation of how tiny we were in the midst of overlapping hills and winding roads around Trollstigen + Rauma Kommune. Our journey up felt like a race. A race against threatening dark clouds and temperature drop. Trollstigen was our first destination, after a 5 hour train journey from Oslo. As we made our way home I felt exhausted, but my eyes awake to all the beauty and vastness unfolding at every kilometre as we approached the blue hour.
